FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

San Francisco - GrowSF, a leading political nonprofit organization in San Francisco, is thrilled to announce the unprecedented success of its "30 Reasons to Dump Dean Preston" campaign. The campaign, which ran throughout July, has raised an astounding $300,000 from over 300 donors, setting a new record for grassroots political action committee (PAC) fundraising in the city.

"We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we've received from San Franciscans," said Sachin Agarwal, Executive Director of GrowSF. "This record-breaking fundraising effort is a clear signal of the desire for change in our city. GrowSF is the most capital efficient and effective organization for frustrated voters to support. We don't hire political consultants — we do everything in-house ourselves and work every day to bring honest information to San Francisco residents."

The "30 Reasons to Dump Dean Preston" campaign was launched at the beginning of July, highlighting a different reason each day to oppose Dean Preston in the November 2024 elections. The campaign's success underscores the growing dissatisfaction with Preston's leadership and the desire for a more effective, responsive, and accountable representative.

The funds raised will be used to support candidates who align with GrowSF's mission to foster economic growth, promote affordable housing, improve public safety and education, and ensure a high quality of life for all San Francisco residents.

"This is historic. This is the most individual donors any PAC supporting or opposing a candidate has ever had in San Francisco," said Steven Buss, GrowSF's co-founder. "It's a testament to the power of grassroots organizing and the desire for change in our city."

The "30 Reasons to Dump Dean Preston" campaign has set a new standard for grassroots political engagement in San Francisco. GrowSF is committed to continuing its work to ensure that the voices of all residents are heard and represented in the city's leadership.
